Our industry NEEDS Captains, YOU need Captains! Last year and with a good start to this year we have trained 30 new captains, some already have jobs and some are just starting out. But it is not time to stop, don’t forget, be an industry leader by giving back with an investment into its future. Time to get those experienced mates and shuttle boat captains to step up to the main job.
Our January and February courses are all full, so make sure you get those trainees booked on what is available as soon as you can.

Our current available Spring Parasail training course schedule. We have multiple course options available. Book soon to get your slot.

Parasail Mate training – 3 Day Course
Open Full parasail training (captain, owner or mate) – 5 Day Course
Private Full parasail training (captain, owner or mate) – 5 Day Course

These courses are open to both new and experienced captains looking to improve skills. The course is classroom and practical skills.

- 5 Day Open – Monday 28th February – Friday 4th March / Last one in Florida before Full
- 5 Day Open or Private – March currently full but if schedule changes could become available.
May
- 5 Day Open Course – Monday 16th / Being Held in Lake George, NY
June
- 5 Day Open Course – Monday 6th / Being Held in Lake George, NY

Open Full Parasail Training Course
This 5 day training course will be held at Custom Chutes facility in Bradenton Florida, for up to 4 people (minimum 2 people required for course to take place) open to anyone, individuals or groups. Daily course time 9 – 10 hours a day. Course will be a mixture of classroom & practical with content of:

Equipment
Maintenance & Equipment Inspection
Correct operation procedures to minimize equipment damage and save time
Set up, inflation and deflation
Captain & Crew operational skills
Correct operation procedures to maximize passenger safety
Emergency procedures
Flight zone safety
Safety equipment
FAA rules & ASTM standards

All trainees will be required to participate as other trainees practice passengers.
Price per person $1800

Private Full Parasail Training Course
This 5 day training course for up to 4 people (optional 6) closed to only your private group, the coourse can be personalized to your needs by the trainer. Daily course time 9 – 10 hours a day. Course will be a mixture of classroom & practical with content of:

Equipment
Maintenance & Equipment Inspection
Correct operation procedures to minimize equipment damage and save time
Set up, inflation and deflation
Captain & Crew operational skills
Correct operation procedures to maximize passenger safety
Emergency procedures
Flight zone safety
Safety equipment
FAA rules & ASTM standards

All trainees will be required to participate as other trainees practice passengers.
Private 5 Day Course price $2275
* If training at your location all daily expenses, travel expenses and any travel days will be charged accordingly.
* If training on site at CCI and you wish to use our boat and equipment charge of $2175 is added.
Additional day needed for 6 people $455, CCI site equipment use $435

Parasail Mate Course
This 3 day training course will be held at Custom Chutes facility in Bradenton, Florida, for up to 7 people (minimum 4 people required for course to take place) open to anyone, individuals or groups. Daily course time 9 – 10 hours a day. Course will be a mixture of classroom & practical with content of:

Equipment (limited to Parasail, Harnesses, Passenger bars and Life jackets.)
Set up, inflation and deflation
Crew operational skills (Bar use, Passenger management, Harness selection, spotting, etc.)
Emergency procedures
Safety equipment

All trainees will be required to participate as other trainees practice passengers.

The Parasail Operators Symposium returns November 2-3, 2021. Along with the Parasail Olympics. It will be held at a new location in Sarasota Florida.
