Passenger bars

Custom Chutes, Inc. offers 3 different passenger bars (Multiflyer Bar Advance, Doubles Bar, Doubles Bar SP) to suit need of the parasail operator and their conditions. We have two bars that can fly up to 2 people and one bar that can fly up to 3 people. All our bars are made with anodized aluminum, stainless steel hardware and 2” polyester 3 ply straps.

The Multiflyer Bar Advanced is the latest version of the Multiflyer bar which is now has color coded safety areas and straps to make life easier for the operator, it is still designed to be used with parasails bigger than a 31’ size. Its weight adjustment slot allows the possibility to fly 1,2 or 3 people without needing to remove or change bars, this has led to many operators no longer need a doubles bar.

The bar has a weight adjuster at one end, allowing you to balance different weights. The bar for doubles can balance up to 230 lbs difference and as triples can balance up to 110 lbs difference. To see how the adjuster moves go to the Gallery.

For reference the original Multiflyer bar, which was retired in 2013, was capable of balancing up to 172 lbs difference for doubles and 82 lbs difference for triples.

The Doubleizer Bar has been a mainstay of the parasail industry since the mid 90’s, a simple design to allow balancing of two people flying side by side, great for the operator that is looking only to fly two people. Through the years it has had minor tweaks to its design to keep up with changes to all the bars designs.

The Doubleizer Sp Bar is the newest in our passenger bars, its compact design allows it to be as narrow as possible but still fits two people side by side comfortably, it’s intended for use on small parasails in windy climates to enhance stability by keeping the weight close to the centerline of the parasail.
